This is the private website of Bergita Ganse, the professor for Experimental Musculoskeletal Medicine at Saarland University in Germany. My work focuses on the musculoskeletal system during spaceflight, immobilization and ageing, with an emphasis on physiological and biomechanical in-vivo measurements. Further topics are fracture healing, wearables and the development of smart implants. I am also the author of several books.
